“PROS: Multi-Role jet. Great gear - Big WheelsSound is the best I’ve heardBattery bay is massive. Flying 5000 - 8000. 4 to 6 min flights. Quick rotation of grass all day long. Love the CG Marks on the wing. Love the paint scheme. Great choice!CONS:Nose Wheel doors still suck. This Avanti S V2 is simply the very best jet in my fleet. I have 111 planes to date and an angry wife to prove it. Many are MRC planes and most are jets. I have many doubles too and a few triples. This jet by far is my most enjoyable. I easily go through 12 plus batteries every time I go to the field. I purchased this Avanti in June of 2024 and in 4 months I have 336 total flights. I love it so much I want to buy another one of these soon. My own personal gripe is as I’ve stated over and over again that MRC’s tech support is the worst I’ve ever felt with. Luckily this jet was picture perfect from the get go. BUT four others in my club purchased this jet because they liked mine so much. I helped them all set up their jets. One of those jets had a faulty ESC that only acted up when it reached a certain temp so it was intermittent. He called motion and I spoke on his behalf because he didn’t know what to tell them. They milked the dog again on me just like they have on every issue I’ve ever called them on until I just gave up with their stalling antics. My friend bought a new ESC from motion and the problem was gone. Motion tech support always gives me a hard time. I put a new ESC in my P-15 as well as ordered and paid for a new servo for my F-22 90mm too because tech support refused to take responsibility and that’s just two examples and those planes were new and never flown. Anyhow. This Avanti is the very best plane I’ve ever flown and I have lots of experience. Full speed passes 6 inches off the ground both right side up and inverted and this jet is just locked in. The nose wheel doors came off shortly after the first few flights due to the nose dipping down and catching the grass so I left them off. I really wish motion would just do cutouts for the nose so nothing extra is hanging down. Id buy two more of these jets if I could afford it right now. Awesome is all I can say. Love the BIG GRASS WHEELS .”

“It is my second Edf after Vulcan, it is perfect to my learning curve .Just 25 minutes to get toghether , a litle more to assure ailerons and elevons, not accuratly fitted.First day 3 flights done,diferent behaviour from vulcan, challenging and perfect to learn more about jets.”

“For those new to EDF models, the Avanti without question is at the top of it's class. The new and improved Version 2 has outstanding power to weight ratio which makes easy work of grass field takeoff's. I have flown many different types and brands of EDF jets and find this air frame to be my personal favorite. In flight, the airplane is nimble, light and extremely aerobatic. The landings are very forgiving and best of all, the rugged landing gear can absorb a tremendous amount of punishment without bending or breaking (within reasonable limits).
