“This is (after 20 years of model flying (F3A+Helicopters) my first Jet and best model ever!In the air it looks fantastic and it has super slow flight capabilities.This Avanti S V2 is my entry into EDF-Jet flying :-) Now I upgraded it with an After-Burner and in one video I could see, to use 2 channels to have an own mixing on the behaviour of this After-Burner...This is the only thing, what I would aks to improve:It is nice to be able to use a only 6 channel receiver, but I don't like, when aileron, elevator and flaps are shared over 1 channel and I cannot adjust them via my radio transmitter. I already replaced my 8 channel receiver by a 12 channel and for my next model, I will buy a 16 channel, to not accept any compromisses.What I am wondering, reading all the feedback and watching YouTube videos, that allo of you are checking the battery voltage after landing or that even there are some crashes with empty batteries. Why is no one using telemetrie and the possibility to measure the current and the used capacity? This is state of the art today”

“The model flies great and easy .Landings are easy.Ailerons is best to set at 70-75% rates with 35% expo.The voters controls live at 100 % rates with 30-35 expo.The only thing is that for my preferences I would welcome a bit more speed.Any way the power is far enough .Amust have in your hangar .”

“Die V 2 punktet mit der Motorleistung und Sound.Gestoßene und gerissene Figuren aufwärts, machen jetzt noch mehr Spaß gegnüber der alten Version. Nachteil ist die Lackierung, die etwas schlechter in der Luft zu erkennen ist, wie die Avanti S rot.Egal welche der beiden Versionen, eine Freewing Avanti in meiner Sammlung darf nicht fehlen.”

“I've finally got it (after waiting for it to get back in stock). First impressions: great looking model (with usual mold push marks). Flies excellent (shortly after take off you can go vertical - I love it!). It's also not very hungry for the battery: I'm flying with 4500mAh 6s battery and can easily do ab. 5 minutes. It's definitely a keeper! Now the negative things: the paint quality (it stretches like latex and pulls easily), the gray underside (it quickly disappears from the sight - thinking about repainting it black or... yellow), the throws suggested in manual are way too aggressive (search for BD Tennessee video on youtube for excellent working throws), the CG marked on the model is way too forward (it flies perfectly with 120-125mm CG). Beside of that - go and buy one (at least one of my club friends wants one after seeing the thing fly).”
