“The Avanti V-2 is one of the easiest Freewing Jets to assemble. The fit and finish are excellent.I performed the maiden without a hitch. My Avanti did require some up elevator to fly nice and level. As far as speed go, it might be slightly faster than the model it replaces. What can I say, it flies like an Avanti. It's a very nice looking plane. You can see the quality in the paint. I didn't have a seven channel radio or receiver, so reverse thrusing wasn't set up. I do have it on othe planes and it's a cool factor, but, not really needed. The Avanti V-2 slows down very well. It's another winner for Motion RC.”

“Our all grass club field the AvantiS shock absorbing gear is not enough. Landing takes 200 feet to stop and vibrations will loosen the retract buckets to come out of the plane. But Rev Thrust stopping quickly after landing stops that.”

“Assembly was very easy. All fit together as advertised. No modifications done to this kit. I like the fact that there are no cheater holes and louvers for added air intake. Very sleek! No stabilization gyro either. Everything worked fine. finally got to maiden this yesterday. Paved runway, Take off at about 3/4 power, Very smooth and only minor trim required. Flies like it's on rails. All flight controls are set per the manual and CG also. Flies stable at all power settings. Landings were very nice with and without flaps. I used a 6000MAH 100C battery. 3 1/2 min and I was down to 27%. To me , This jet was worth it.”

“The plane flies nice unfortunately it had two bad servos on the left side of the airplane elevator and one aileron I contacted customer service. It would take too long to resolve the problem so I just purchased the servos .trouble ticket was put in. I had to operate on a new plane and product in order to get this wrong situation right . Your customer service guy ozzy is great. Your company will go far with people like him”

“I've been flying the v1 since it came out and its a great flier. Now the v2 is just even better, like all the changes made. A big plus on the landing gear, and now the nose gear tracks down the runway and not having the plane all over the place.Love the new color scheme. At first, I though with the gray it would be hard to see but it isn't, my old eyes can see it with out any issue.I was also surprise how all the moving surfaces were perfectly a line right out the box. Another big plus. And trim didn't need much.Great job Freewing and MotionRC.Now how about a bigger one.”
