“Mijn model kwam onbeschadigd in de juiste verpakking aan, samen met 2 accupacks van 5000 mAh. Het kostte weinig moeite om het model in elkaar te zetten. Het enige wat ik toegevoegd heb, was een zwart geverfde uitlaat. De eerste vlucht was niet makkelijk, omdat het model niet wilde loskomen van het kort gemaaide gras. Na een paar pogingen raakte het model een hobbeltje in het gras en schoot omhoog. Een heel klein beetje trim was nodig om het model bij half gas neutraal te laten vliegen, dus: perfect! De landing ging probleemloos. Daarna heb ik een 4 cm. langere neuspoot van een Freewing A4 Skyhawk erin gemonteerd, en dat was een gouden greep. Het model komt nu makkelijk van het gras los en vliegt de spreekwoordelijke “sterren van de hemel”. Later heb ik de veren van de hoofd poten vervangen voor minder sterke veren. Daardoor had het model de definitief juiste “neus omhoog stand” om goed los te komen bij de start.My model arrived undamaged in the correct packaging along with 2 pc. 5000 mAh battery packs. It took little effort to assemble the model. The only thing I added was black paint in the exhaust. The first flight was not easy, because the model did not want to break free from the short mown grass. After a few tries, the model hit a bump in the grass and shot up. A very small amount of trim was needed to make the model fly neutral at half throttle, so: perfect! The landing went very smoothly. After this experience, I installed a 4 cm. longer nose strut of a Freewing A4 Skyhawk in it, and that was a golden opportunity. The model now easily detaches from the grass and flies the proverbial "stars from the sky". A few flights later I replaced the springs of the main legs for less strong springs. As a result, the model now has the definitively correct “nose up position stance” to take-off well at the start.”

“Just got this model put together. So far, very nice model by Freewing. An excellent job by Motion RC! MRC has become my new RC shopping business. Excellent job on shipping, and they actually talk to their customers! The model went together without any problems, and it is beautiful. If it flies anywhere near as good as the Avanti I just got from MRC- I will be super happy. My only complaint (the same as on the Avanti) is that FW still uses super cheap Phillips screws. Please FW, supply your loyal customers with quality hex-drive fasteners. FW screws are horrible. I did not use the supplied fasteners, but upgraded to high quality hex drive screws; otherwise, I am loving these FW planes!”

“Compared to what EDFs are going for today, great bang for the buck. Went together well, beautiful in the air. Faster than it looks! Rugged landing gear. The afterburner is a fun addition. A few coats of minwax, and it's shiny/smooth. Yep, I'd buy this one again.”
