“This is my second L-39. It is the best flying jet I have. Great in windy and cross wind conditions. There are 4 of these at our field and we have a blast flying in formation. I will always have one of these in my hanger. Would be a great 1st jet.”

“I received the L-39 via FedEx in perfect condition. All parts were carefully packaged with zero damage. I installed a 80mm 9-Blade EDF 6S Power System w/ 3530-1900Kv Motor from Freewing along with a 100-amp ESC to complete the power system.Assembly of the L-39 was very effortless as all parts fit correctly. I followed the control setup as shown in the instruction manual, my radio has to ability to set three rates for the controls I usually enter a mid-point control between the recommended high an low rate for both the ailerons and elevator. The maiden was done at our club field. Installed a new 6 cell 5000 maha battery, checked all controls and performed a range prior to take-off. My balance point was about half inch from the rear of the battery floor. The maiden flight was most enjoyable. I used the mid-rates on the ailerons and elevator - rolls and loops were very crisp and scale like. Visibility of the plane was excellent. I used half flaps for and effortless landing. I would recommend the L39 as an excellent second jet or as a good “go-to” jet for everyday flying. This is an excellent plane.”

“This jet fly's as well as it looks and lands even better! I have multiple jets that are faster(not to say the L~39 can hold its own) and much more expensive but I always find myself choosing the L-39 to fly over the others. I believe it is a pussy cat to land.”
