“I purchased this plane after reading many good things about it from fellow pilots. When I got the plane I was blown away at how nice it looks. They did a nice job on all the fine details molded into the foam. This was my first purchase from MotionRC too. I quickly looked the plane over as I took it out of the box. But I didn't notice the huge wrinkle/indentation on the fuselage. On the right side under the cockpit area. Many because that side was facing away from me on the table for assembly. I started putting the plane together. Then noticed this issue. I contacted MotionRC with a support ticket because it was Sunday when I recieved this & started assembly. They took 3 to 4 days to even respond to my request for support. Then wanted me to show them the box it arrived in. I told them I no longer have the box. I had to dispose of it. I have kids at home that played with the box after I put the plane together. But after a couple days the box needed to be thrown out. I explained there was no damage to the box. I looked it over to photograph any signs of external damage from packing. I didn't see anything. So it left the factory with the damage likely. MotionRC didn't seem to care about my issue. Saying that once I started assembly it was basically my problem. But the first step in the instructions is gluing the rear of the plane together. So theres no sending it back after that in the orginal box. They said they could offer a $30 in store credit. But I feel that wasn't very fair. I've been into the RC hobby about 35+ years. So I like to spend money where I know I'm taken care of if theres a problem. I thought MotionRC would be a nice place to add in my list of favorites for shopping. But with this being my first purchase at $408 then recieved a damaged product. With the lack in response times to support tickets & not wanting to make this sale right. I won't be looking to buy from them again soon sadly. I seen several other items they had on the website I liked for future purchases too. But if your not in the business of keeping customers feeling like you care to promote repeat business. Then that's not where I'll spend money. But the model is a nice one. I'd recommend from freewing. I just happened to receive the one that was damage & had a poor customer service experience at MotionRC.”

“Probably best quality foam finish I have seen. Really solid close cell construction giving a lovely smooth finish. Great Fan/motor combination giving great thrust allied with great top speed. Quality of undercarriage and all hardware is fabulous. If you want a fantastic sports Jet in fantastic warbird jet clothing then this is your go to plane.”

“As someone who has only been flying mostly IC and electric sport models for a couple of years this was my first proper EDF, having only had a hand launch habu before. It's easy to fly and land, though not a beginner plane, and took a beating when stalled into some bushes when I ran out of power with minimal damage caused! Definitely recommend for someone who wants a fast, sweet flying, great sounding EDF for 6s power.”
“This aircraft was fast and easy to assemble in less than two hours and had all the control surfaces set and ready to fly. Flys well off a grass field, plenty of power. Flew for 4 minutes with a 6000 battery and still had 37% left.”

“Did the maiden and six more flights on the L-39 yesterday. What a kitten. Tons of power getting off in the grass, even with the ordnance on. Plenty more power in the air. It flies like my Avantis. Landings were a non-event. My 5000 65C rides right on the front end of the wood. The 5500 45C (heavier) sits back maybe a half in. The batteries are hot. Need some air moving through there. Looking for an option to add cooling holes. The scale details on this jet are the best. I’ve seen no need for a nose gear brace. I’m taking off with just a smidge of takeoff flaps. I highly recommend this one.”
