“Best Freewing plane yetThis plane has it all but is not an Avanti S. The l-39 is very fast but can be flown at half throttle with nice handling. I am flying with gear down and half flaps till I get used to the extra speed, also this gives me the landing lights to better see the plane. It flys just fine like this. The Russian Camo paint job is very nice and makes a big hit with my flying club. The landing gear seems to be strong. I plan on making the lights stay on and other light to strobe.This is the nicest kit and plane that I have owned from Freewing.”

“Excellent scale model from Freewing. The quality of the foam and paint is amazing - one of the best foamies I've bought. When assembling the model and testing, I did have an issue with the landing gear operation, but Motion Customer Service fixed this by sending a new control board so now all is good!”
