I know have over 30 flights on the F 35 VII, have flown it on 5000 to 6500 mah 30C up to 75C packs , she take um with ease, flies great, I put all of them at the back of the battery tray (back of the battery is at the back of the battery tray) just before going into the fuses.. This is a pleasure to fly and lands solid, easy, smooth, like butter with almost 1/5 power, NURCAC in N. Utah is around 4,700 feet above sea level, even when it's almost 100 degrees this jet is , just flat out moves... FREEWING AN MOTION RC PLEASE,,, PLEASE BRING THIS OUT IN A BIG 90 MM..... PLEASE !!!!!

Aileron throw setting per the manual are way too high. I found dual rate of 40%/40% and Expo 40%/40% works well take off, landing and general < 3/4 throttle and dual rate of 25/25 and Expo of 20/20 works real good for >= 3/4 throttle.

I’ve had a few FW 70mm EDF's and this is by far the best yet. It does everything well, the fit and finish is incredible, assembly is straight forward, and flies outstanding. I use a 5000 full aft and get 4 1/2 min flight times. Well done FW and MRC!

Easy to assemble, quality jet. The F-35 is a good looking jet that is fun to fly. It has good speed, and handles very well throughout the flight envelop.

Take off and flight very predictableLanding gear is nice but I wish the wheels were a little bit bigger for grass.Landing seems pretty fast .I may just have to get use to it.I’ve only had 5 flights on it.

This latest Freewing F-35 Lightning II V3 70mm EDF model is far better than the vectoring nozzle model. Even though I haven't flown this latest model yet, I'm confident it will fly just fine without it having a vectoring nozzle. The graphics on it puts the vectoring nozzle version to shame, they are really very nice. It's much better having the battery installed under the canopy rather than in the belly under that stupid plastic hinged vented cover. I'm thinking about getting rid of the previous vectoring nozzle F-35 model.

I have flown this plane a few times, and i absolutely love it. Although on the grass it needs a lot of run way, it haves plenty of power. Its a very stabel plane and little trimming is needed. It doesn’t have flaps so it has a little high landing speeds, but because it’sa stable plane it is easy to lans. The looks are very nice and the building is easy and straight forward.I hope they will bring out a 90mm version with flaps and airbrakes.

The F35 flys well once you manage to get it airborne. I fly off grass so it needs full power and a long run to get off. However after that it performs really well and lands with no problem. The cheater hole sucks up cut grass and twice I’ve had to strip the fan out of the model to unblock it but that’s not the models fault but due to our field having lots of loose cuttings. I’ve has a FOD guard printed ( from Thingyverse) and fitted an that seems to work
