I purchased the ARF PLUS version because I have the EDF from an Avanti S that has been converted to turbine power. The EDF was a direct no hassle bolt-in process. Flys very nice, an excellent sport EDF jet.

Super great flying edf jet. Very efficient plane. Tracks nice like its on rail. Good speed and vertical performance. Flew mine for 9.5 minutes at about 45%-50% power using a 5000mah 6s 65c pack. After the endurance flight I had 30% left in the pack! Not recommended unless you know your battery and planes performance well. This bird also has a real cool whistling jet noise. Need i say more!

Excellent flying aircraft, would recommend as starter if it’s your first EDF. Barn door them flaps and she lands beautifully. Power up and you have a great sounding and nimble flying jet. Looks great in the air.

I bought this version and installed my own power unit. the finish was great, no blemishes or dents that I see. The flaps when closed don't stop flush with the wing so I did install some small wooden blocks to hold the flap at flush when closed. Let me say that the landing gear are awesome! Really beefy, similar in size to the 90mm planes. They also have the nice metal plates over the retract unit where they are screwed down. These should be standard on all freewing planes. Speaking of that this is not a small plane, it is also pretty heavy. I had a little doubt about whether it would be powerful enough but never fear. It hauls just fine! This is one of the most locked in feeling jets I have flown. It flew great from the beginning. I did install a gyro; it only adds to the stability. It literally is a jet powered warbird. It has a huge wing, so it glides a long way on landing. I just chop the power and glide it in. No weird tip stalling or any shenanigans. It will fly on a 4000 or a 5000mah battery, either one works fine. I have my c.g. set just slightly nose heavy from the recommended mark, I still fly it there. i would have bought the green one if they offered it in arf plus. So great plane, easy to fly, easy to land, very happy!

My dad got to fly the real thing back in the 50's. Hated every minute of it. The F-86 in his opinion was a quantum leap in improvements and technology. It was hard to tell him I bought the T-33 and it flew exceptionally well. As far as RC jets I'd say this is the easiest to fly and land. I've had mine about a year with never a scary moment flying or landing. Balances out well with both the 6s 5000, and 6000. Huge waste of money putting a receiver that had AS3X and SAFE in it. Never needed any stability help, and it's so solid in the air, certainly didn't SAFE.One nose gear pin is the only replacement part in 100 or so flights. And that crummy landing was ALL ME!

Thought it was a complete pnp.Did not come with fan or speed control. Bought those after receiving plane. Excellent service.
