“This is a beautiful, fast and slick looking plane. Off of grass, my takeoffs and landings are with full flaps. My flights are about four minutes with a combination of fast and slow flying on a 4500 mah battery. The color combination is outstanding! She definitely is a keeper.”

“Great flying EDF jet. Flies predictably and very fast. On a small field you will have to fly around in circles or reduce power. The fit and finish is perhaps the best I have seen in EPO foam. You have to land this plane slow or it will bounce up on you. Overall, very nice plane!”

“I have flown this plane about 6+ times too date. First the build. It's a pretty typcial build except snaking the elevator/rudder servo lines from back to front was harder than usual. Perhaps because the entrance openings in the fuse were offset a bit. In fact, I think Motion's James had the same issue in his build video. Still no big deal just a little more fiddle time to get them through.Wow, the plane flies great on a 6S 4000mah. CG is as stated in the manual. There's room in the battery bay (not like the 70mm Viper). Flight times were very good and exceeded my expectations on the 4000mah. This plane has plenty of POWER. It moves! I thought it was a bit faster then the 70mm Eflite Viper. Vertical is incredible. I suspect the Vulcan can keep up with the 80mm FW Avanti which is no slouch. The Vulcan also lands very well. When it touches the ground on landing it stays down. The 70mm Eflite Viper was a bouncer on landing. My only disappointment is the solid yellow color is hard to see and not real attractive for a sport jet. Either they should have made some yellow and white or blue checker like tiles on the plane's bottom or better yet use a RED color scheme which in my opinion is the easiest color to see in the air for all. One of the many things I like about about the red 80mm FW Avanti is it's great visibility and look in the red color scheme. I suspect FW will listen to this feedback and make color changes. This plane is a good value and fun to fly. Again, plenty of POWER. No, I'm not a marketing (spin dr.) guy or commission base u tuber...... just an regular RC guy. I could have waited to post a review but I thought people wouldn't want to wait for the first unbiased review.”

“Couldn’t get the blue wire junction box to work and had to replace it with Y harnesses. My nose steering servo was bad and had to be replaced as well. Other than that, the plane quality is good and it is a excellent flyer.”

“Absolutely great flyer! Its very sensitive on the ailerons but that was easily corrected. Takeoff from grass with partial flaps was superb, landing speed with full flaps was insanely slow. Love it!”

“Very surprised that for $300+ EDF that all flying surfaces except the flaps utilize molded in foam hinge lines that we all know deteriorate over time.Also, very surprised that all the Push Rods utilize Z bends on one end and plastic clevises on the other - should have been ball links on a plane this size and powerful. For about $80 more you can get a larger Avanti with 80mm fan, quality hardware and a proven good flyer.”
