“I flew my 70mm F-22 today for the first time, here are my thoughts. I used a lemon rx 7 channel receiver/gyro in mine in conjunction with my DX-9. The finish is superb and the construction was fantastic. Excellent oleo struts and landing gear! I used the c.g marks provided on the plane and left it a tiny bit nose heavy. I was able to use the channel 7 to activate/deactivate my gyro and by plugging the reverse thrust into 7 it worked as well when the gyro is deactivated. Perfect! I used a 3300mah 60c battery for my first flight. after a fairly long rollout it lifted off. As expected it was a tiny bit nose heavy. The markings on the underside of the wing are a perfect starting point. My subsequent flights I moved the battery back to neutral c.g. It flew perfect there. I also flew it on a 4000mah 60c and it flew great on that also. It has great power and no bad tendencies that I saw. Just like the big boy 90mm F-22 which I also have. I think this may be the first new plane I have purchased that I did not even have to add one click of trim for any of the control surfaces. I trimmed the elevator 8mm down at the front per the manual and that was perfect! I cant wait to take it out again!”

“Please check out my Maiden Flight. https://youtu.be/5XZbcmN_wXo?si=Vt-lCktkxW5MbFXHPlease check out my unbox https://youtu.be/wpzYvFIGDBE?si=f3yN-wofxcDX0PrSThis is a very new innovative jet to what's available The push button release wings are legendary I just wish there was a reciprocal for the electrical like other manufacturers do so you don't have to plug in a wire I do know that that setup can be a bit problematic due to wear and tear over time but it would still be much appreciated by me It will make less of a hassle not having to plug in the wires you could just push the two buttons pull it off and store I don't understand why there are no lights on this bird I understand it's small but lights would have went well it's the only thing missing at this point if you have landing gear with suspension which is a huge plus for me that I retractable which is also a huge plus most of the smaller birds end up not having retracts The fact that this does is awesome of course I am comparing to the 64 mm series which the '70s are a bit beefier and the fans are definitely more efficient Love the plastic ends however I wish the plastic would go along the whole front edge of the wing as my plane tilted over while stored on its news onto a box and now it has two lines across the wing section hate that brand new bird my baby I know I did already rent about the missing nav lights but the heads up display light would have been nice too like on the F-16 how do you make that and then make this afterwards and don't put the same features I understand it's smaller There is no sponginess at all to the wheels so the suspension definitely helps out with that softer wheels would have been better but this thing landed great so no complaints”

“The jet went together very easily. I changed the wheels to Dubro low bounce (great upgrade). This jet flew amazing. This is my first F-22 and I love the way it handles. This is easily one of my new favorite jets! The only con for this plane for me was the quality of the foam. I don't know if they did not put enough paint on it or if the mold was not filled enough but the foam cells are very apparent. It reminds me of when EPO first came out. Other than that, I'm very happy with the jet. I only have 6 channels right now so no thrust reverse, roll outs are a bit long.”

“Very disappointed with this plane. It flys nothing like the promotional video.Maybe I got a lemon, but my 64mm Raptor from freewing flys faster and better.Like I said, maybe I got a lemon but I would not recommend this plane in this version.”

“Jet looks flawless however, the connection box, where all servo leads junction through and/or the wire ribbon leading from the box to the receiver is bad. Of course the parts are not available until who knows when. For now I suppose I will buy a bunch of servo Y-connectors and bypass the factory equipment. Hopefully the rest of the plane was well put together.”

“Always the pessimist, what's bad? If you build this stock, nothing.I removed the black box and used a couple Y's, a 3 way Y for retracts and split the elevators for tailerons. I used a 9ch receiver plus satellite, both under the battery tray. To fit these and all the extra servo wire I channeled out the foam under the tray about 1/4". Came out very clean. A 545g 5000mAh Lipo all the way back balances about 1/4" behind the marks and in flight that's about perfect.Stock build time should be like 5 minutes...My 8S 90 has a lot of mixing plus TV. The 70 is not quite as nimble but for what it is this is very close in how it flies and apparent speed.Oh, and painting the rudder servos makes it look a lot better.”
