“My second non-3D printed EDF after the Avanti S V2, and so happy I got it. Flies great on Graphene 6S 5000s. Everything about it is well thought out, landing gear is tough and the leading edge guards are perfect - really protecting it from dings and crosswind wing strikes on landing. I replaced the stock gyro with a Hobby Eagle A3 Super 4 as the OEM one needed a card for full programming and I already had one for the Hobby Eagle. Otherwise, great plane!”

“I’ve owned them all except the 70mm. I nearly purchased the 70mm but saw that the 80mm was right around the corner. I’m a sucker for 80mm sized edf’s. They sound good, they fly better and they are just slightly more efficient compared to 90’s. Freewings 80mm raptor just hits the spot. It’s fast and I’m not even kidding. This is what the 90mm should have been. The 90 is still the queen of all raptors. I will never take that crown from her but the princess is hot and she is no slouch. The lights are bright even on a sunny day. Her gear doors and proper sized nose wheel gives that true raptor appearance on taxing and rollout. Her sound is intoxicating during high speed low passes.
