“Replaced the stock rearward folding main gear with the upgrade. When the gear was raised, the tire came in hard contact with the top of the wheel well, causing the gear actuator to bind. Had to shim between the wheel well and the actuator. You would think that with the weight of the aircraft, the upgraded gear would have a longer stroke. On grass, you can hear the gear bottoming out.Well built item, but needs a little R&D.”
“I really like the compression struts for the 80mm A-10 rather than the trailing link. I have not installed this yet and hope I don't have to in the foreseeable future. It was purchased as a spare part if/when needed. It seems to be of the same or better quality as the original.”

“Replacement of the main gear was straight forward. I am disappointed in the design of the new main gear because it has very little compression to absorb firm landings thus causing the wing structure to absorb the firm landings. More compression would be a great benefit for the unwanted firm landings.”
