These pins are of lowest quality and snap with smallest pressure. Freezing makes good products and I wish they would address this issue.

Replaced the broken connecting pin on the Freewing F4. Replacement pin works well.

these pins, I found to be the easiest pin to change, I really like how they are flat at the top so they don't fall through instead of using that tiny e clip to hold them in

Prima passende pin. Snel geleverd. Dus top. Jammer dat de verzendkosten voor zoiets klein nogal fors zijn.

After snapping two nose gear landing pins (the original and the pin in a replacement retract that fried on me) on my F-7F at the point the pin exits the trunion, I was pleasantly surprised to see the part sold as a stand-alone, and ordered several (not trusting myself). Out of the package the pin seems to be made of a different metal than the original pins were. So far it has stood up very handsomely to the ordinary stresses of having to support that long, spindly nose gear strut on the F-7F, which must put significant torque on the pin, exactly at the point where the first two failed.

I snapped this pin just after four flights. After reading reviews i made pin out of Trex 450 pro DFC main shaft. It is perfect, strong and after too hard landing it bend not brake.

Original item snapped on first landing on short grass. The broken part looked like it was a cast white metal item.Bought three replacements, fitted the first on and it snapped first landing again. I’ve been flying rc planes for over 20 years, and am an instructor, so am capable of landing various models. These pins look brittle, I’m now sourcing hardened steel pins, for example motor shafts, with a circlip groove on the end to allow steering.
