“Very quick delivery from FedEx no surprise regards payment it's all explained. Well packaged with excellent instruction manual.Went together very easily l can't stop.looking at it. I.think this is the best looking rc foamy on the market today. My club mates are so jealous. I fitted the spektrum safe rx this is a fast plane and can soon get very small the fast low level passes are just awesome. The gear has shown no signs of damage maybe a dozen flights off rough grass up to now. I also fitted the twin afterburner lights sooo bright �. Bring it in fast and 6" from touch flick the reverse thrust turn round to see all the open mouths behind you. Awesome”

“Assembly of the airplane went without any difficulties except that the cover for the elevator servo is attached with double sided tape when delivered in the box. If you don't know this, it becomes a challenge to decide, do I just pull this until it comes off or am I going to break something.. Just pull it off, it will be fine.The setup prescribed in the instructions is very close to being spot on. You will have to make adjustments after your first flight to suit your flying style and preference. First flight was off a concrete runway, which made the take off smooth as can be expected off of a smooth surface. Plane came off the ground with just a slight input of up elevator. I did have to put additional up trim in the elevator over and above what was recommended in the manual. Flap to elevator mix was set up according to the manual and I found that it caused the airplane to climb slightly when flaps fully deployed. I'll just take out a little of that up elevator mix.All in all the plane flies like it is on rails and I see no need for a gyro. I allowed it to hit a little hard on landing and the gear absorbed the shock with no problem. She bounced a bit but there was sufficient airspeed to flare and touch down on the mains the second time. With throttle management I landed with 34% left in my 6S 5000 mah battery after 3 minutes of flight. Speed way more than adequate at just above half to 3/4 throttle. Love the airplane, like a Mustang it looks like it going to kick ass just sitting still.”

“I own the T-45 90mm because I love scale flying and love warbirds. I was skeptical about the F-4D Phantom due to many reviews which I had read which did not give me the warm and fuzzzyy. Some of those came from the field which I fly at as well but at the end of the day I loved the look and since owning the F-4 Phantom and flying it.... It's always my opener for my flying days at the fields. Definitely an eye catcher and a conversation magnet every time and if you love the scale flying and showing off your pride possesions "THIS IS IT". 1 Con: One thing to remember though is that it's not a fast flyer so just don't expect any big aerobatic stunts out of the F-4D. BUT do expect some realistic looking flying bird!!! Happy Landing!”

“Everything looks good and fit well except the wood motor mounts were glued poorly to the foam. When I took off the motor cover, the motor was not attached to the airframe. Reglued the wood motor mounts and all was good.”

“This plane flies well, the detail is beautiful, the landing gear is stout. The best part is probably the landings. Does not show any sign of stalling at slow speed near the ground. I actually have 10 of these planes currently. I would add I like the 8s better than the 6s I have 5 of each.”

“This bird with the new 1960KV and 120amp ESC is a rockstar performer! If you're on the fence about 8S or 6S...get the 6S now that it comes fitted with this combo from factory. I am seeing 4:30 flight times on SMC 6200mah 75C 6S packs with relatively aggressive throttle usage and flying with fuel tanks and missiles. Using better throttle management, I fully expect you can see 6 minutes with this bird now. Top speed I've clocked so far is 116mph which isn't too shabby at all! This bird looks as good as it flies! Definitely check your elevator servo and give it some simulated flight usage on the ground to ensure its in good condition. Mine failed and needed replacement before maiden but I was planning to upgrade anyways so not docking a star for that. If you're on the fence with this bird, do yourself a favor and get it!”
