“Horrible instructions should have been edited by a Motion “Tech Writer”. Motion has no excuse for selling aircraft w poorly written assembly manuals. The Motion F-4D doe not have either standard or optional means to install the four fuselage mounted AIM-7 Sparrow missiles that we’re required for ALL F-4 combat weapons loads.Also.... why not provide the Motion F-D at least the option of a drag chute to decrease the looooong landing roll-outs”

“Easy build, easy on the eye once built, (but all Phantoms were / are, regardless!), nice scale finish. First flight was a careful set of circuits to get used to the aircraft and it’s attitude characteristics. I need some adjustments to the controls for more demanding flying when the weather permits !”

“This model was easy to build. Instructions are easy to follow. Beautiful model. It's a real head turner. She flies with good authority on the stock 6s setup. Only 4 stars due to the weakness of the flying stab linkage / servo. My ball link (female rod end) bent under some stress. I ended up modding mine. I augered out some foam and fabricated a servo tray from plywood. I installed a standard sized metal geared hi torque servo. I installed DuBro 4-40 ball links with a turnbuckle for the control rod. All is good.”

“I did the maiden flight at our Warbirds Over Arkansas fun fly this past Sat June 8th, it was a huge hit, everyone just loved seeing it fly, it flew fantastic and looked awesome in the air, it was very easy to put together, took me about 40-45 min’s. Everything fit very well and worked perfect, Freewing has knocked this one out of the park, i love this Jet and will be flying it a lot, it flies super smooth”

“Lost #1 due to failed elevator push rod ball link. Upgrading to high strength automotive ball link and 4-40 push rod and high strength servo connector for elevator. Added extra glue to elevator servo. Enjoy the flying characteristics!”
