“It's just fantastics that MotionRc offers the spare parts for their models. They have them on stock or they know when they will arrive, the components fit perfectly, it makes our hobby less costly.I broke the fuselage and nose landing gear of my F-18. (I was stupid, I shifted the battery making the model too tail heavy) The new fuse arrived in a few days, in one hour I moved the equipment from the old one to the new one and I was back in the air. Like nothing has happened. :)If I would ask for improvement, the instructions could include better exploded view and indicate the spare part packages. e.g. the fuselage comes with LG doors but doesn't come with the LG door springs. I got them by accident, because I ordered the doors as well and they had the springs..”

“The Aircraft flies good, however, they need to rethink how some of these spare parts are offered. No way should you have to buy a wing set just to buy a spare set of rails. I get the set of wings package but the pair of rails should be separate.”

“The small control rods and springs that allow the LG doors to open and shut are not included in the purchase of this fuselage. This is unacceptable! In order to get the items required to use the LG doors, you must purchase the LG doors, which are already on the fuselage. You don't buy this item because you have all of the ancillary parts. You buy it because you DON'T HAVE those parts. Those tiny little control rods and springs are usually lost in a crash! Requiring customers to buy the LG doors AGAIN as separate items, just to have the little control rods and springs, is just plain ridiculous! The 1st thing I do to my new fuselage is to put nylon reinforced tape across the the plastic piece inside the wheelwell that separates it from the EDF duct. That plastic piece seems to disappear often and there is no replacement part for it. You can use nylon reinforced tape to cover the hole left when it departs. But to avoid that, I will just put tape on it to minimize its early departure.”

“My previous fuselage, although functional, would not retain the plastic separator between the EDF duct and the wheel well, despite using 2 different glues and reinforced packing tape. I finally got tired or manufacturing the pieces myself, having them get sucked out of the plane, and losing them, and not being able to fly my bird. The new fuselage looks great. But looks are nothing if parts are missing. There are 2 items that do not come with a new fuselage that should. One can be bought at MotionRC but only with another item that already is installed on the fuselage. The landing gear doors do not come with the springs or small control horn that allows the doors to close as the gear come up. No one should have to buy the gear doors in order to get the springs or control linkages with a new fuselage. Those small springs are easily lost. MRC, either put a set of 5 springs and 6 control links, (0.4x4x12mm springs) in your inventory so we can put the gear doors on properly, or send the fuselage with the control horns and springs attached to the gear doors. The other piece is the bracket that holds the nose wheel steering servo to the bracket installed in the fuselage. The L-shaped bracket is not part of the fuselage, and is not available at MRC. I jury-rigged the bracket that is there but it is not ideal and something that cannot be bought from the supplier. It should definitely come with a new fuselage. At the very least sell it as a part, or part of the steering arm or control linkages packages. Also put the plastic piece that separates the wheel well from the EDF duct in inventory. It's ridiculous to be forced to buy a new fuselage because that 50 cent piece of plastic gets lost.I gave the 'Very difficult' rating on ease of use because it's not easy to assemble and use something that comes without all the parts necessary for it to function.”

“I was very disappointed that the fuselage did not come with the small springs and clevis rods for the gear doors. Those small springs and clevises can only be bought with the replacement gear doors, which the replacement fuselage does come with. These small items only cost pennies, yet the fuselage is not complete without them. Another item that is included in the fuselage but cannot be bought separately, are the left and right plastic baffles that separate the wheel wells from the EDF ducting. I have lost 3 with my F/A-18 but cannot buy a replacement for it without buying a new fuselage. Without those baffles, the LG does not retract and the EDF loses a lot of thrust. The included picture shows that the baffle is missing as seen thru one of the wheel wells. You should not see the ESC if the baffle was in place.Other than those 3 items, the fuselage is a fine replacement. The springs appear to be 12-15mm long, 4mm outer diameter and uses a wire about 0.3mm or 0.4mm. I used a 0.5mm diameter wire spring but it is too stiff for the gear doors. Some smaller diameter springs are on order via eBay. Clevises can be made using the 1.2mm clevises MRC carries.I gave the fuselage the lowest rating for difficulty in assembly and use, due to the difficulty in getting the gear doors to close without the required hardware being included on the item. This lowers all the other aspects of the review as well.”
