“So, I've had a dozen flights now and it really is a fun jet!! However, one thing I want to point out is that the user manual C of G at 88mm is really out... I am flying at 100mm - 105mm back from lead edge of main wing. There, the plane flys real nice and easily floats at a low speed. Time for some loops and rolls!!!!”

“I finally got to fly it. Flew great once the C of G was right. Any forward from 88mm the manual says deffinetly feels nose heavy and takes longer to get off the ground. Love this jet!!!”

“First off, the jet is awesome!! I have yet to fly it because I'm still painting ng the thing. One big thing I would like to see from Freewing is a set of main wings and the armements that go along with it. Anyone who buys this jet would want them... I'll let you know how it flys later..”

“Two flights on her so far. The power, speed and sound are amazing. Landings are just easy. Pretty much everything I have been looking for in a 90mm jet. Quality control...not too good. My in-runner version came with damaged servo wires on the elevator servos. Also, the nose gear retract died after a few cycles on the ground. The elevator servo covers looked like they had been hacked with scissors to fit the opening. The manual has an error on pushrod lengths. And one of the rudders had to be completely re-hinged as all the hinges were loose.That being said I truly love flying this jet. It would have 5 stars except for all the QC issues. I also think the price is a bit high.”
“The stock power for this jet is pretty decent. It doesn't provide 1:1 T/W ratio but it has plenty of speed and vertical performance despite that. I'm liking it a lot but it is a rather sluggish airframe compared to the Su-35 or Eurofighter, slightly smaller and heavier, thus faster too. Aggressive pitching maneuvers are not its thing and high pressure on the pitch stick will force a wing stall and make the jet skid sideways. I love the good placement of the landing gear, allowing for smooth rotation on take-off and helping landings too (Nose gear will not slam down as soon as you touch ground with mains)... but I have to say the manual reccommendation for CG is beyond horrible. 100mm behind wing's leading edge is a much better spot, still on the nose-heavy side but more neutral. And I also reccommend to set the jet to operate with tailerons in pitch and roll for optimal performance.Despite what the product description says on elevator housings being reinforced, I don't see anything new so I guess they just glue them better at factory now, thus I'd reccommend to build some extra reinforcement with wood or 3D printing to make sure the stabs will stay on place over time (Pic attached with what I did to mine).Also, LEDs are so bright they will blind you when flying in low light dusk conditions. Great for visibility during day but not so great for orientation after sunset.
