“I received my Freewing 70mm B-2 Spirit very quickly, and it arrived well packaged. The aircraft itself is absolutely beautiful and well-built. On the maiden flight, everything went smoothly—I was able to trim and set up the jet perfectly.
Unfortunately, on my second landing approach, I came in too low and didn’t notice some electrical lines near my field. The landing gear caught the wires, and the rest is history. All three landing gears were damaged, although the frame remained intact. I had to order replacement parts to get it back in the air.
This was purely pilot error, not a fault of the aircraft. Despite the mishap, this is still an amazing jet and definitely a must-have EDF for any collection.”

“I only needed the B-2 for a display at our Museum honoring Lt. Gen. Steve Basham. So sadly, it will never fly. It does look beautiful, though. We lowered the gear and wired it up so the running lights operate, and it is now both an example of what is available in the RC world, while providing a visual example of one of the most sophisticated aircraft to ever take to the skies.”
