“The 90mm Zeus arrived quickly, well packaged, and undamaged. It seems to be very well built and was very easy to assemble. After powering it up, all the control surfaces, gear, and gear doors work beautifully. I'm installing a flight controller to provide stablization, loiter, and return-to-home in addition to just plain manual control, in case I have any trouble controlling it. Haven't flown it yet but looking forward to it.”

“This has to be one of the best edf i have ever flown, its fast, agile, lands at acceptable speeds on 8s, very good flying times getting 4.5 to 5 minutes with lots high speed flying”

“This jet was perfect right out of the box. Everything went together exactly as the manual described. CG was perfect at the published spot. Fit and finish were the best I've seen so far...even the white foam is painted white for a nice smooth finish, gear doors close tight, and the 8s setup was again, awesome. My ONLY grievance is that they should have included a 2-battery serial connector, but luckily I had one ready from my last jet. The jet does fly as fast as you see in all the videos, even at half throttle it is faster than most of the Freewing military jets, and opened up, it is definitely the fastest edf I've flown so far. It lands beautifully, too. The flaps with the suggested elevator mixes are perfect as well...the jet just slows down, but no attitude change. Get one!”

“Wow, this thing is really fast, but…..I have technical problems from beginning, because the ESC controller was faulty and my Zeus acted as if by a ghost hand. This became noticeable after I had taken off (approx. 150m) and fortunately I was able to perform an emergency landing on our large airfield and landet the model undamaged. The ESC switched itself on and off and even the thrust reverser was activated by itself. After a long discussion about the problem with Motion RC and several videos I sent, Motion RC sent a new controller and a new blue central box.I also noticed that the Y-cable from the EDF was very badly soldered to the circuit board, which caused a short circuit.Finally, I was able to fly the Zeus . With the 8S version, it is absolutely the fastest jet I have ever flown as an EDF. It is also super quiet and makes a nice whispering sound. I fly it with 2 x 4S - 5200 Lipos and have about 5 minutes flight time. However, I had to reduce the aileron and elevator movements to a minimum to make the Zeus more controllable. The 8S Zeus is more heavy than the 6S version and difficult to control with the rudder movements specified in the building instructions. The servos do not have exact positioning, which made constant corrections necessary. This only improved after I had mechanically reduced the servo movement to a minimum (innermost hole of the servo arm). Finally, I replaced the servos with higher quality ones.However, the 8S version with 2 x 4S-5200 is a bit nose-heavy. All in all, I am now satisfied with the Zeus 8S, it flies like on rails, is super-fast and the orange version is an impressive eye-catcher on the airfield.Unfortunately, after 5 flights, the thrust reverser stopped working again and I disconnected the plug from the receiver to prevent further malfunctions.Due to the defective ESC and the resulting complaints, as well as the inaccurate servos, I unfortunately must withhold 2 stars.The high price is not justified for the cheap electronics built into this model.My recommendation to Motion RC: Use better quality ESCs and servos for such a jet and everything would be fine.”
