“This is a very good model, both in terms of flight and appearance. No problems assembling, everything is included. Using Spektrum AR630 with AS3X+ and the machine is a dream to fly an d launch, the only reason not to give 5 stars is that it is missing rudder! Using Spektrum 3S 1300mAh G2 and 4S 2200mAh G2, both work well but 4S is brutal, coming down in a dive from high altitude with full throttle and passing right next to You is absolutely incredible! Very nice model!”

“Faultless, flys very well and it’s nice to see an under modelled Dora version. Flys well on a basic 4 channel Rx and doesn’t need any gyro stabilisation. Mine is flown on a 3S 2200mah Lipo and gives 8 minutes of mixed scale flying”

“A very fast plane, not something I’d recommend as a starter or even 2nd plane, perhaps 3rd plane, although it looks great.. Took it up 4 times had a gyro in, had to turn the gain way down, still really twitchy, lost control and smashed into the ground, had to order a new wing.. Also no instruction online (Searched Hobbysquak and asked the question no reply) on expo or gains, again frustrating, something as fast as this should come with docile maiden flight details (Expo/gains) and then work backwards from there..”

“Other than the P-51 Lippisch, this has to be about the best value on the MotionRC site. Love to see more of these designs that save a servo (= $$$) by skipping the rudder. This isn't a 3D machine, and it's so stable you really don't have to worry about coordinating turns, so it's not necessary. *Excellent* fit and finish. 3S is more than ample and makes the balance easy to nail. The smiles per dollar are hard to beat!NOTE: READ the update on the ESC - it's a very robust and feature-packed unit, but will confuse the uninitiated without the background, and may give the impression that there is an issue if you just try to bind it with your throttle set to minimum.”
“This is my second FW1990D, the first one had a small mishap in the moment of bad concentration 2yrs ago, so I had to buy it again. Great small warbird you can have in your car all the time, just charge the batteries and enjoy warbird flying. Reccommend 4s if you like speed.”
