Such a good looking well made plane, I fly it on 4s 2200 mah lipos which suit it well.Looks great in the sky, my only gripe is that there was no pilot in Cockpit, had to remove glued on canopy to put one in.Well done Flightline and Motion RC!Simon Malvern uk.

Great little plane. I've only been flying for 4 weeks and this is my first war bird. (Who says you need bags of experience to fly them) Make sure you get your rates dialled in correctly as this thing will do rolls for days!!!Great at low speed and easy to land, glides in beautifully on approach. 2200mah 3s is all I use and it's plenty enough for me.Love this plane. Contemplating my next war bird already.

First it is not as fast as they say on three cells it flys but eats up batteries quick and one four cells its faster but not 85 mph maybe 65 mph and again it just sucks the life out of the batterie . I have a P-51 same size and with a 3 cell 1300 pack I can get 5-8 min of good flight I put a 3 cell 1800 brand new pack in this and got 4 min of flight time . Now with 4 cells it flys faster the way a fighter should but has the same problem every plane gets when you overpower it STRAIGHT TO THE MOON this thing climbs like a rocket when you go full power with 4 cells and that tells me it was not suppose to fly on 4 cells just stay with a good 3 cell pack

Fit and finish on this bird is impeccable. None better in my opinion. Just for hoots placed a Apprentice receiver in it. Hand launches done blindfolded. On beginner launches and landing are a dream. Once up switch to expert and go nuts. Panic button saved it once due to a dumb thumb attack. But really a stabilized receiver is not necessary. She flew like a dream on expert mode. So snap one up you won't regret it. Remember our hobby is the only one where you need sunscreen for your teeth.

This is one of I think six FlightLine RC planes that I have and I have never been disappointed in the quality and flight characteristics of the Flightline RC line up. I run my Dora with an Admiral 1600 4S and it hauls a... through the sky! I've run it with an 1800 and a 2200 mAh battery, but for me the 1600 4S is just the right power/weight combination. I get a solid 7 minutes out of my flights with the 1600mAh, and that's not just poking along in the sky, but putting the Dora through it's paces. Also using an Admiral RX600SP receiver/gyro in it. I set my plane up with flaperons which help slow her down when coming in for a landing. Only thing I do wish the Dora had is a rudder. Yes, I know you don't need it to fly this plane, but I use the rudder a lot when I fly my planes and would certainly do so with this plane if it had it. Hand launches are a piece of cake. I power up to around three-quarters throttle, point her up at about 45 degrees, and the plane just pulls away from my hand straight and true. Overall, a great plane! Looking forward to FlightLine's next pocket rocket in their line up!

This thing is awesome. I was waiting on my 4s 2200mAh batteries to show up before writing this. Turns out, that is the only way to go. If you want to fly for what seems like forever, throw a 3s 2200mAh battery in it. My thumbs wore out before the battery. I get about 10 to 12 minutes on the 4s depending on how I fly it. I'm not sure why everybody says to put the batteries all the way forward. I hate that. I balanced it at the CG for each battery and marked it on the inside with some tape. I followed the manual for the recommended rates and I had to turn it down just a bit from there for low rates. My only complaint is that there is no mechanical way to reduce the elevator rates. As it is, I have them turned down in my radio to 45%. I prefer to take the majority out mechanically instead of dropping them in the radio. It's probably more noticeable since I placed the battery so the CG is where it's recommended, but I prefer a very neutral airplane to a nose heavy one. Other than that, this thing is fantastic. I got a lot of comments on it at the field. Somebody asked me what flight controller I was using to fly this thing. I had to tell him I have no FC, it's just a really nice plane.
