The OV-10A was my 5th plane from MotionRC and like the others I was impressed from the minute I opened the box. Among the others I have F7F Tigercat and P-38 Lightning. Each new release includes some small refinements as they incorporate the learnings.I would recommend watching the build video and reviewing the official Hobbysquawk (HS) for tips that will make the assembly a bit easier and address some minor errors in the manual. After doing that I was able to assemble the plane in one evening with issues.Just like the Tigercat and P-38 the OV-10 has an efficient power system. I appreciate having flight times of 7 minutes or more, even at 5000' at my local field. At my elevation I wish the stock configuration has just a tad bit more power but even so it flies very nicely. Per someone's recent comment in HS I may try the 2-blade setup he described. I don't use a gyro and I find the Bronco to be quite easy to take-off and land. When I flew with all the ordinates attached I did notice a bit of wobble as others have mentioned but nothing that causes a major concern. With a clean configuration it was barely noticeable if at all. The addition of a gyro would probably remove it completely but certainly not required in my opinion.

I purchase this plane with high hopes. I must say out of all the planes I have purchased from MotionRC this has been the most difficult to get flying due to the blue box fast setup. After finishing the servo check on all the control surfaces my next step was to wire it up per the youtube video. I thought that was a very good video and felt this should be a chip shot to put together. After I finished the set up I used a spectrum 6 ch to bind to my DX9. One motor was working and the other would not...after checking my wire job and online chat with Motion I was worried about the ESC not syncing with the motor. As per my discussion with online tech support I took the motors out and check them individually with the ESC outside of the blue box and it worked perfectly. After putting her all together again and re binding...she is dead lined....The model is a well done on the outside but I have yet to get her online..I hope the screws that come with them will handle the repeated removal of the wings and ect to get to the wiring....

There are a ton of wires, need to take battery box out to hook all of them up, Now for the flight, I put her up today at our 4th of July WAR BIRD fly in at NURCAC field west of Ogden, Ut. for her first time. 2 Admiral 4s 4000mah packs all the way forward, took off with no flaps oh man what a plane ---- just some up is all she needed. She fly's great expo at 25% on all rates, rates -------- Low------mid.-----high Ailerons' -- 50% 70% 100% Rudder-- 50% 70% 100%Elevator-- 60% 80% 100%Flaps--------Take off------Landing-----speed 40% 60% 2 secI flew her around at half to 3/4 throttle for 7 min and had 66% left on my batteries. I'm going to leave the batteries all the way forward and just make the mechanical adjustments on the elevator. I know it looks odd to set the flaps up with the panel line but that is how I did it, an the ailerons' even with the wing tips she flew great. Gear is outstanding, love the delay on them. Landing this bird is a dream, just like butter---Love her for sure----The only thing I have a tad bit on the negative side is the wind does bother her in the air. A gyro would smooth this out..LOVE--LOVE--LOVE this bird, if I could give her 100 stars she would be a 99.999%er for sure.... a

The FlightLine 1400mm OV-10A Bronco is an excellent scale creation of a classic airplane. The feature-packed offering makes a great-looking plane right out of the box. It also serves as a great start for a more-detailed flying model capable of adding landing gear doors and other details to. The wing and flaps are very well done and the retract units are a good match for the grass-field capabilities of this plane. Overall detail is very good and true-to-scale.

There is absolutely no room to do the rats nest wiring into the blue box. None. Had to use tweezers to get the plugs into all of them. Very frustrating, time consuming and creates a lot of shi*, shi*, fuc*, fuc*s while trying to fit wires into extremely tight place with no room. One of those projects where you want to sit the engineer down at your table and tell him to do it with his fingers in less than an hour while you slap him on the side of the head. Instructions on wiring are simply useless, and for such a complicated, hard to get to wiring circuitry you would expect a little help. The instructions simply say, put wires into hole and connect. Worthless. Just spent two hours doing the wiring and had to take a break. If the rest of the assembly and follow up fuselage wiring is just the same, I will be calling Motion and tell them I want to send it back. Yes, is has been a frustrating time.
