“Good, scale model of my first assignment in the Air Force. Good off grass or asphalt. Canopy latch weak, so I added small permanent magnets to back of canopy to help hold it on aircraft inflight. Forward fuselage and nose gear a weak area. Important to match/sync left and right engine (Esc) or might roll off into dead engine. Will roll/snap to left if too slow or gusty. Replaced fuselage, not too difficult. Flights fine with 2x4000 batteries. Not a lot of vertical. I usually remove one wing for transport. Nice to see the Bronco in the air again.”

“This is a great model and goes together well, flies very scale and docile but be warned if you loose thrust on one side it will go into a spiral dive. Unfortunately this happened to me on the fifth flight (ESC fail) and ended up as a bag of small pieces. Not sure if the two battery set up is the best. The reason for the low rating is due to the failure of the esc.”

“We flew the Bronco the first time it seemed underpowered. I added the 5 blade props from the EFLIGHT EC1500. This made a slight difference. I recently added both the motors and Avain dual 40 amp ESC also from the EC1500.This resulted in a great increase in power and fly ability. Vertical performance increased greatly.The plane was good out of the box. More powerful motors made it great. This is now my go to plane.”

“Most of the model layout was found to be ok. - What did I miss?Between the blue box and the front gear there is no suitable position to fix a gyro-receiver like the Spektrum AR637T if you want to use 2 of the common narrow but long 4s-lipos. In my case I installed a little bridge on the wooden battery base plate for the receiver (near the blue box) and I use a shorter, compact lipo (GensAce 4s6750 mAh / 140x50x47 mm).Concerning model conception I would have suggested to use the rearmost part of the fuselage e.g. with a top opening to place the receiver there. - The other, more optical issues concern the missing retract gear doors and probably a second, non military livery like that one used by the Californian firefighters. - I appreciate if these aspects could be considered in a further version of this fantastic model aircraft with its unique fly-by view.”
