Worth the money, a really good looking airplane. It flies as well as it looks. Very easy to assemble. The two 3600 admiral batteries fit snugly into the fuse cavity. The C.G. was correct. Advance the throttle and it lifts off by itself. Strange that after it clears the runway- it dips a few feet- then resumes flight. I have seen the same thing on other videos. Reduce the throttle and its lands without flaps - steady with no surprises. It has no stall tendencies that I noticed. Very good quality materials -you will be very pleased with this airplane. It fits easily into a van with wings attached.

Thank you to Motion RC again. I have over 30 planes from MRC, mostly Warbirds, and this is my favorite. My maiden flight was on a paved runway in front of 25+ Boyscouts. Talk about pressure and weak knees! I had one scout selected to go with it using an FPV camera in the nose turret. (Suggest a piece of scotch tape on the bubble as mine popped off during flight. Already have 2 spares from MRC).The top turret was mounted on a continuos servo. After 3 passes, I landed and to my surprise the plane porpoised a few times and turned into a “touch and go”. (Preplanned of course). The real surprise was that a paved runway did not slow it down like our Club grass field. I used 2 5000mah batteries which made a perfect CG and the improved shocks on the gear were awesome to handle the added weight of the batteries. Really enjoyed the cheering with both landings. Have flown off the grass since and it was much easier. One of my Uncles was a B24 Navigator over Germany in WWII and one of the few who came home.to tell about it when I was. 10 . So this plane is special to me.

Let me start by saying that Motion RC is my favorite place to shop, and that Motion RC is a very good company that revolutionized foam electric airplanes business in US. I own many airplanes from Freewing and total of 3 from FlightLineRC. B-24 is a little bit of disappointment. B-17 from Freewing was very good. B-24 has an issue with Flaps. Flaps are not symmetrical and one flap will deploy 5 millimeters more than the other. This is because both servos are Normal (instead of one normal and one reversed). As a consequence servos are located in different place on the left and right wing. The control horn is also located in different place for each wing. When you deploy flaps your airplane will act as if you applied aileron during landing and it will tilt/roll to one side. That is how I broke my prop during my 5-th landing. WHY DID FlightLineRC MESS IT UP LIKE THIS ??? On Tigercat they got it right. The flight time is very short, it uses batteries very quickly. ESC throttle calibration is very poor. It takes 5 clicks/ticks to make the prop rotating (On Tigercat 2 clicks/ticks). The grey tape under the wings (for hiding wires) was detaching on my plane out of the box (I had to glue it myself). One aileron surface is rubbing against wing (very end). What is superior is the quality of carbon tube inside of the wings (important for attaching or detaching wings). The airplane is very difficult to turn during flight (not a complaint just observation). I mixed rudder with ailerons to help with turning. I do not understand why this airplane costs more than Tigercat. Yes, it is 2 meters but footprint is smaller than Tigercat. Of course it is a very good looking airplane, and no other company (other than Freewing) comes close. Landing gear like on all FlightLineRC airplanes is very good (A++). Maiden flight was not easy and required trimming. One gear would not retract on maiden, but after cycling started working fine. One flap got stock in deployed position, but after landing and cycling went back to normal. I think we need another category where people can mark if they flew the airplane before writing the review. I see so many reviews where people give 5 stars without flying the airplane.

First off, this plane looks fantastic. All of the lines in the foam look great and the paint scheme is great. The water activated stickers are a pain and when they dry, they have bubbles that look pretty bad. They are also very brittle and can ***** when touched. The wings disassemble nicely and the connectors are different sizes, which keeps you from installing them incorrectly. The props are very brittle and break easily, but they do look great. On my maiden, I used an S6R receiver from FrSky (built in gyro stabilization). I hadn't gotten it set up yet, so I disabled the stabilization, making sure to roll the aircraft in my hands to ensure it was disabled. I use the exact same receiver in another plane, so I know how to disable it correctly with the transmitter switch. the plane took off with very little effort on my grass runway, but immediately went into a loop and inverted. I gave full elevator down, but it kept pulling up until nose-diving into the ground, destroying the fuselage and both wings. I called chatted with MotionRC and asked if they could help out with ordering the replacement parts--even a 5% discount would have done something. I was incredibly disappointed when the rep told me that crashes happen in the hobby and unless I had proof that it was a defect, there is nothing they would do. I have bought several planes from MotionRC and I felt a little help would have been a great show of customer appreciation. I am very disappointed with the service I received. Great plane overall, though.
