FlightLine B-24 Liberator Olive Drab 2000mm (78") Wingspan - PNP Reviews

4.7 Rating 139 Reviews
Very well thought-out warbird platform. Plug and play components, counter-rotating prop setup and batteries assigned to complimentary outboard and inboard motors to allow successful landing configuration in case of one battery failure, are all signs of a good design.Looks great in the air, and flies like a large trainer. No bad habits! Take-offs and landings are uneventful, and it has plenty of power. Anyone with moderate experience should easily be able to handle this model. Would highly recommend this airplane to anyone thinking about a great looking, and flying, multi-engine warbird!

Beautiful , but still in box.. Winter weather and small hobby shop.I will post later on maiden flight. Question: what's with the Up grades? Do I need the $ 45.00 dollarlanding gear on my club's grass runways? I plan on using the 4000version batteries when the time comes. just asking.... D

This bird looks great and has so many options to curtomize it in whatever WWII scheme your heart wants. Has a ton of power and flys reallt well. I currently fly with two 4s 2500 packs and am getting over 10 min flight times.

Am still in the building process, but as far as I can tell it is a top quality, well made model as I would expect from Motion and Flightline. Parts are going together well and the fit is precise. The use of screws as opposed to glue is something I appreciate too. The proof of the pudding will be in the maiden flight, but from what I've seen in videos, it should fly as well as it looks! Am looking forward to that.I like the option of being able to alternate from a D model to J model, back and forth. It also looks like it will handle short grass with very little problem.I will add to my review after I've flown it.R. Davis

Well after much delay of UPS due to wax (the beast) arrived. Package perfectly, the detail of the aircraft is superb. About 3/4 thru the build, no real issues. The pull thru wire for the servo wires is a great idea. I am posting a buil blog on RC groups if anyone is onterested. Title is b24 liberator freewing. Another writer mentioned the ESC connector, yes differant size bullets, just use caution when attaching. When you put the wings on is when it really hits you, what an awesome aircraft.
