“I purchased two of these meters so I could have one home and one in my flight box. The battery check and balancer function worked perfectly! However, the discharge function was a complete failure on BOTH units. After a few minutes of trying to discharge a 6S LiPo to storage value on one meter, and a 4S on another meter, the Units got extremely hot and stopped discharging. The screen went almost completely black. After the units cooled down, I tried again - this time I put the LiPo and meter in the freezer, and they discharged the batteries successfully. I’m pretty sure it’s not recommended to place batteries in the freezer, but I read another review when this happened that the customer did put it in the freezer and it worked. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this unit, BUT, the team at Motion RC immediately responded to my concerns and refunded my purchase price. Thank you!”

“I do not recommend anyone purchasing this product. With the battery connected & the discharge function activated, the unit rapidly gets very hot & the screen starts to black out where it is not possible to see any readings. In order to discharge a battery, it was necessary to place the unit in my refrigerator's freezer!”
