“I'm new to the hobby and recently joined a local RC club. Almost immediately I was told that having good lipo checker is a must. I stumbled across this little gem and decided to give it a whirl.It does everything I wanted it to do and more. However, I do have a few small complaints about it though that I feel people should be aware of.The instructions are poorly translated as the product is clearly straight out of China. Read it a few times and reference the pictures and you will be fine. It can and will balance and discharge your batteries. The only way it can do that is to convert that energy into heat. It will get very warm so don't leave it unattended. If you can have a fan blowing on it then I suggest you do. It helps the efficiency. Also, I have nothing to compare it to, but it takes forever to discharge batteries. The last time I attempted it I discharged a 2200 mAh 3 cell from full to storage. It took about 3 hours but it is capable. It balances lipos as well but again isn't all that fast at doing it.My intent is not to deter anyone from purchasing this product. I really do love it. But I rely more on my charger for for the discharging and balancing of my lipo packs. For the price you really can't beat it. It's simple and capable and quite accurate. I definitely suggest this product. It even dubbs as a balancing board to be used in conjunction with certain chargers that use balancing boards. Buy it and you certainly won't be disappointed.”
