If I had to gripe about anything it'd be the battery compartment cover as i got no nails but its still really good!”

“I bought my son an M1A2 Abrams from another site, didn’t know better. I decided to get a tank for myself and I had always been fascinated by the battle of Kursk and on a whim searched “1/16 rc Kursk Tiger I” and thankfully up popped the motion rc website. I couldn’t believe it, a site ran by obvious enthusiasts and very pleased because of it.The videos were incredibly helpful and I took the advice and bought the better battery, glad I did, more power and longer life. I bought one for my sons also. Of course my daughter wanted one, so know we have two S33 Kursk Tiger I’s lol.Now for the Review, what a blast! Excellent quality, good fit and pretty spot on. I used to model 1/35 armor so if you do or did also, you’ll quickly forgive the minor inaccuracies because of how great this thing is at the price point. Operates wonderfully, the IR battles with my kids were a blast and watching them “Kentucky windage” the bb’s accurately about 30’ was pretty fun until they started nailing my legs while I was wearing shorts. I use Airsoft .25 gram 6mm premium bb’s.Things you need to know,The front lower hull spare tracks can fall off if you hit something (I’ve had to backtrack a couple of times to find them) they need to be removable since two hull access screws are hidden behind them. So you can’t glue them. I’ll either mount magnets similar to the IR receiver or drill a tiny hole and use a small black barely noticeable screw to keep them in place.The bow machine gun vibrated off and I used Tamiya abs cement, problem solved. Left rear mudflap did the same which was easily fixed with gentle, gentle squeezing on the hull mount bracket with small hobby pliers. I ordered extra parts which I recommend anyway because you know you’re going to push this beast to its limits.Overall this is pretty rugged, but again follow the tips and tricks from the videos and the forums.Usually when I see “recommended add ons” I shy away. I’m glad I didn't! MotionRc certainly knows it’s business and my “play time” has been much better because I did.Customer support was great and when I called because I had a question. Imagine my surprise when I heard “Let me connect you with a tank expert”Great website, great products and support. Still blown away that you can extra parts readily available so quickly.
