“This is a great tank. Very detailed and fun for my 12 year old. It works very well in a backyard setting with tall-ish grass and dirt. The airsoft really works well and the shot distance was surprisingly good. I bought the M26 at the same time and the IR battles are a lot of fun. My only complaint about the Heng Long Tiger 1 is the quality and user friendliness. The snap on accessories are very brittle and snap easily. The "cables" that users can attach to the outside of the tank, broke when taking off to apply decals. In addition to that, the battery door tabs broke off while installing the battery. As far as the battery door goes, the Tiger 1 is very difficult to take off and put back on. The spring loaded slide is not engineered well and take a lot of effort to open. Two people were required to install the battery. Why not just use a phillips head screw like on the M26 Pershing? Overall, it is a fun tank and we look forward to updating and improving it over time.”
