“The Jagd Panther has alway been one of my top 2 ''all time fav.'' Tanks along with the Tiger1 ''early version'',, & have been looking @ these Heng Long JP offerings ever since they came out.Have had an old 27mhz Tiger1 for over 15 years,, & decided it time for it to have a friend,, especially with the 7.0 - 2.4ghz set up & steel gears ect. ect. ect.Few minor issues with not all advertised functions being shoot on the fly on this though,, like volume button doesn't work,, & only has 2 running sound modes,, which the buttons are goofy on in setting,, but one of the 2 sound modes is ok by me though,, & sounds killer!It is advertised with XT-60 conns, but mine came with knock off ''old school'' Tamiya ones.Other thing is,,, my pack had a weak cell right out of the box.Other than those ''minor'' things,, this Tank is incredible,, especially for how little it cost !Proportional thrott. & steer functions are also like a piece of Heaven,, & there is also 2 programming settings,, for how fast or ''scale'' slow you want it to go.I set mine up for ''slow mode, & in doing so,, it should hold together ''alot'' longer.,, plus looks more cool & scale.Am so impressed with it,, I just ordered a new 7.0 Tiger 1,, so I can swap the new goodies out of that, into my old one,, because the paint scheme on my old one is kind'a in an Anzio sheme, with Tiger markings,, & looks real cool,, & has grown on me over the years .. LOLWill then be able to also do Infared battle between the two.I did open up the JP,, & did an inspection also.Really impressed with the layout over all on it,, & just added a few more small Zip ties to secure some of the harnesses better,, & also added a couple spots of shoe goo on a few of the wires back a bit from a couple of the small motors,, because of the little soldered wires onto those motors,, they can break real easy if those wires move around much,, from vibration ect. ect.Steel gear boxes are super nice also,, & even have nice plastic covers.One thing I always do with gears right away on my R/C stuff,, is to put in a few drops of Super lube ''heavy silicone'' oil over them.Stuff is awesome,, & is great shock oil also,, for off road stuff.Lastly,, I did some repaint, weathering,, & detail,,, & think it turned out just as good as some of the ''very high priced'' Tamiya offerings i've seen,, & can't honestly really tell the difference now.First pic is of mine @ about 80% finished,, & just waiting on some AK Ultra mat varnish,, plus a bit more wash & filter,, for weathering..2nd. pic,, is of an actual Tamiya one,, which I think was done up by them.If you love Tanks,, these Heng Long offerings are a no brainer !I”

“Originally received the wrong tank "Panther Type G" but it looked to be the original supplier's fault not Motion RC, outside shipping box was marked for the correct tank but wrong tank was in the shipping box. Eventually received the correct tank and I love it.”
