“Overall, I’m very impressed with the Heng Long Jagdpanther. The details are very good, the sound system great, and the smoking exhaust very cool! I got it after getting the Heng Long Tiger 1 which I’m also very happy with. With that said, the battery that comes with this tank and which also came with my Tiger 1 is a piece of junk. The one that came with the Jagdpanther was bad right out of the box. Couldn’t even do the startup check out with it since the cells were so out whack it wouldn’t even start up the tank and my charger wouldn’t let me charge it. Didn’t even bother asking Motion RC (MRC) to send me another one. So, plan on spending another $25-30 for a good battery. The decals that came for the Jagdpanther actually stuck onto the tank, unlike the ones for the Tiger. Unfortunately, the decals that did come with my Jagdpanther were misprinted and a call to MRC got replacement set sent out. With that said I’m quite happy with this tank and my Tiger 1. Do I think theses tanks are good quality tanks that I’m going to be able to run frequently without any problems? Well, no. I run mine occasionally and mostly enjoy looking at them as static display tanks. I just don’t think the quality of the electronics, motors, and parts will take too much abuse and usage. MRC lists lots of replacement parts for these tanks, but most are out of stock. Either it’s hard for MRC to get the replacement parts or there’s a lot of people needing to replace the parts on their tanks. Nonetheless, I’m quite happy with both my Heng Long tanks and for the money spent and would purchase them again.”
