“Realistic Modern Tank!
The first thing I said upon opening the box was: "Wow!" I had read that many Challenger buyers claimed that—even if they didn't actually use it—it was worth purchasing just to keep on display; at the time, that seemed like an exaggeration to me, but seeing it in person, I finally understood. This is a model with a high-quality finish. It is easy to operate, though it takes a little time to apply the details and decals—at least if you want to do it properly. I bought the Challenger II to stage battles with my son in our living room, fighting against the Leopard 2. I think we’re going to have a lot of fun with both of them. The Pros: The Challenger II is a tank that is a true pleasure to look at; its sounds, lights, and smoke effects make it look incredibly realistic! The Cons: It appears to be a delicate model that needs to be protected from bumps and impacts, as it feels somewhat fragile—and the internal mechanisms responsible for the gun's elevation and rotation seem particularly delicate. I’m hoping that with "friendly" use, the Challenger II will last us for several years.”
“My grandson opened this today as his Christmas gift and the turret does not turn. Very disappointed boy and I am disappointed based on its price. I guess I will have to attempt to repair it somehow.”
“This is my 5th Heng Long Tank, this one didn't have as many bits as the four others (Abrams, T-90, Merkava, and Leopard). My two favorites have to be the Merkava & T-90!”
