“I really like this tank and it works well in simulated combat with other Heng Long tanks. The decals are not the easiest to apply, but with some help from a friend figured it out. My charger arrived defective, but a call to MotionRC has a new one coming to me at no cost. MotionRC was recommended to me and I believe they're the best. My friend has a different Heng Long 1/16 scale tank and his moves much faster than my Abrams.”

“This tank is generally good for the price.But,I do hope HL to improve the following points;1;Gun barrel is to be lowered to negative angle like real tank.2;Running speed is to be a little bit faster.3;Main switch is to be set around the hull for easy handling.4;Battery room is to be a little bit larger for various sizes of batteries.While good points are;1;Well painted overall the tank beyond my previous imagination2;Comparatively powerful BB shooting function3;Barrel recoil is very realistic combined with the hull recoil ,though the timing is a little bit earlier4;Metal tracks and sprocket wheels are so good as they generate realistic sound like a real tank when running.!I will enjoy the tank outdoors after improving the above points. !!”

“I've never been big on scale land-vehicle models, and this is my first RC tank. That said, this was a fun 'build'; and easy at that. Sorta wish I had a T14 Armata for it to face off against, but that's hardly a ding against the model. Minor gripe with the instructions, they seemed to omit a few items, but the pictures were fairly easy to decipher. (If I could read Chinese I'm sure it would be very clear, but I've never had the chance to learn.) Over all, fun build.Pro tip, though, don't accidentally drive it off the table. The main model is very sturdy, but the little accouterments... not so much.”

“This is my 1st tank. Like the features and ease of set up. controlling is also easy. The only thing I was disappointed in was the metal tracks. They don't have much traction. I got it stuck in the grass. Not very tall. Slips around on lava rocks. I ran it on the concrete in hopes to scuff them up hoping to gain better traction. I have not tried it on dirt or gravel or any serious inclines. I made an obstacle course of different items. I.e. Plastic ,cardboard ,wood ,brick, towels and other things. Some good, some bad. Cloth or towels got caught in tracks and Jammed it up. Grass also got collected in the tracks. A thou these things happened it is still a lot of fun. Gun works great!!! I think I might try the plastic tracks. I will still give it a five star rating as all other function operated fine. just needs getter traction. Maybe rubber on the tracks.”
“This is a beautiful model the M1. The detail is very real and it runs very well. One caveat, it does not like to run on gravel. My whole yard in Arizona is gravel and it gets into the tread and causes it to de-rail. I'm sure that it will operate fine on grass, dirt and hard surfaces. Just not rock or gravel.”

“Really enjoy the tank, had some fun shooting at the mechanics in the shop when first arrived. Wish there was more upgrades for example waterproof components, gear options. turret seems cheap because its a simple plastic. metal tracks and gearbox seems to feel strong. Enjoying it so far but have not been able to put it through a hard test yet.Likes: Heavy Metal upgradeDislikes: smoke feature is wasted feature for m1a2 abrams turret rotation is not 360 limited functions on turret on/off switch is on bottom instructions are not proper English and omit some instructions motion RC description calls for LiPo battery but only came with lithium ion battery motors are loud turret tube does not have negative movement turret and tube have loud clicking at limits needs to be easier to clean and take apart”
