My tank arrived on time in excellent condition! The instructions could be better and some parts aren’t shown in the instructions but relatively easy to figure out! The Professional version is the way to go, solid running out of the box and the all metal drive components make for a heavier more realistic running tank! Change to a better LiPo battery and you’ll see a much stronger running tank, but you can do fine initially with the stock one! The transmitter is very cheap so treat it carefully, I dropped mine and had to do some repairs, but This is standard in this price point so expected. All in all I’m very happy with my Heng Long tank, and Motion RC.

I don't know how you do it with that wonderful price. Been looking at tanks for about 6 months and the tank you get for the money is totally off the hook.

I received my M1A2 in perfect shape. The detail is really good if you just want a tank to run around and shoot things. However I am a modeler and I love details. So the tank is a good starting point to add detail to it. It runs great and the sound system surprised me. I don't believe it tells you this in the description but this tank also has track tension adjustments on it. That is a big plus. The battery compartment is very large and I will be getting a larger battery for longer run time. I wish I had gotten the professional version with steel track and wheels but that is on me.

Ok, this is my first experience with a tank and I am very pleased with what I got. I have always been more drawn to modern tanks and the Abrams in particular. The Pro edition with it's metal/rubber road wheels, metal sprockets and tracks is just what I wanted as it is heavy making it feel more like a tank to me. Outside of a damaged hatch which I easily repaired it was perfect. The styrofoam packaging and carton showed signs of a hard hit and with it's weight well I am surprised that there wasn't more damage. My battery charged fine and I went ahead and added all the detail parts. Assembly was straight forward with most parts being press fit. Graphics are peel & stick. The manual is definitely not so easy to read and some of the graphics are slightly different than the actual model but you can still figure it out. I had one plastic part left which was an antenna. The finish is good although some of the airbrush detail looks as though it was rushed. I will correct all of that when I weather it. My first run in my basement on smooth concrete performed good and ran for over 20 minutes on the stock battery. The barrel recoil is a neat feature as well as the smoke system. I was able to cycle through the different engine sounds and volume levels and once I read the manual I am sure I will understand more of the controls. One thing I noticed is that with the IR sensor connected to it's plug inside the left hatch the open hatch lid somewhat blocks the sensor from the front. The hatch also hits the small machine gun mounted on it such that you need to remove the gun to open or close the hatch. It's a minor issue and overall I am very pleased with the quality, ease of assembly and performance of the tank. I have plans to eventually go to the red 390 motors, rubber padded tracks, drive shaft bearings and 360 degree turret. Now I am looking forward to some tank battles with others.
