“I thought this would be a 1:1 replacement for a Spektrum satillite, but it is not. Maybe it works fine with Spektrum receivers, but not third party devices such as the Aura 8 FC, which is designed to work with Spektrum satillites. I experienced intermittent bouts of very high latency when paired with an Aura, which could have resulted in a loss of the model. Flex says this is a known issue with this unit.”

“Receiver had no instructions. To bind I would need to press the button on the receiver with the bind plug in the main receiver. This receiver was going to be installed in a very hard location to get to after the plane was completed. Access to the button on the satellite would have been very hard. I had a early model satellite receiver from Lemon that would bind when power was applied to the main receiver.”
