“Yes its a 2-stroke so its noisy but does have power but alot of vibrations. I installed this onto my nexus tiger moth per the "Recomendation". Way to much power for that plane and if using the stock muffler you need to heavily modify the firewall to make it fit! I found by using the DLE20RA muffler fit perfect without firewall modifications.”

“I have purchased 4 of these engines over the past several months. I’m still working on finishing the planes and haven’t run them yet but the size makes for a drop in replacement for glow motors of similar power with gas / ignition reliability and economy. Lots of good performance reviews. Great looking piece!”

“Break-in start ups were good. Did 75 minutes with 5% Klotz + Gas mix. Installed on a 2m Ugly Stick. First five flights were good. Next flight had a dead stick. Next flight had another dead stick. Found that the engine had completely seized..!! Total run time including 75 minutes break-in was 112 minutes. Crazy. However, on stripping engine, cause had been due to no lubrication into con-rod. No bushing. Quite unusual. There is a small orifice at the bottom of the conrod for lube. May have got blocked. After lubrication, the crank turns freely. Need to start and see though. This is my second. The first has given more-or-less trouble free operation in excess of 660 minutes in 75 flights. Hence a fair rating given.”
“I really like the looks of the quality of the engine, I don't like the wrap around muffler is a $50 add on extra. It does come with a muffler but there isn't much of a way to hide that inside a cowl. Haven't installed it yet.”
