“Using this temperature sensor is an inexpensive added measure of safety while charging your batteries. After having a Lipo battery explosion and fire in my house while unknowingly using a Chinese knockoff of the SkyRC IMAX B6 charger purchased on ebay (it overcharged the battery to over 14 volts), I am taking every precaution now. Also purchased the SkyRC D100 V2 charger which monitors every aspect of the charging process. The charger has a phone app and can also connect to your PC for full control of the charger. Highly recommended.”
