“About the only part that did not have a ding in it, or crushed area, was the right wing !wings fit to body is a bit off at the leading edges. And be sure to go over the graphics stickers and make sure they're stuck on. Had one nearly completely fall off.Area for battery and Rx very very small.cute little plane though. I'm sure I'll enjoy it.Will not be purchasing any more Skynetic products. Slightly over-priced for such cheap quality.”

“My friend Mike and I were very pleased to see this available once again. We both own the previous release Neptune and it is not only great fun, but draws a lot of interest from our fellow flyers. While fast, it is very stable when set up properly. Don't forget to put a small bit of positive reflex in the elevons to help stabilize it. I have not yet assembled my new Neptune, because my friend Mike is having trouble we the 30amp ESC supplied. The ESC overheats and goes into limp mode after only a couple of minutes. While physically smaller than the 40amp ESC in my previous Neptune, it apparently does not have an adequate heatsink and overheats if left under the hatch. If flown without the hatch, it performs as expected. This ESC needs to be upgraded to one that will handle the job with the hatch in place. It is the faulty ESC that prevents me from giving an otherwise excellent design 5 stars.”

“The Neptune is easy to assemble and looks good. An AR410 receiver was chosen to handle the signal because of its small size and telemetry. With an Admiral 3S 2200mah lipo, it balances right in the middle of the CG range. Launches are clean at about 3/4 throttle. It has a wide flight envelope due to its large wing area. It's quite stable throughout the full throttle range. Speed is good for 3S and the EDF sounds nice with its high kv five blade fan. It doesn't have that leaf blower sound. Closer to a nine blade. The lower blade count high rpm is very efficient at battery usage and gives good flight times. Bottom line is that it's a lot of EDF fun for a very good price. IMHO it is a good first EDF.”
