Great small wing, love flying it. But it needs plastic runners on the bottom of the fuse, and or wings. If landing on pavement, as is our field.

Great flying wing . Running mine on 3s 2200 mah batt. Shipping to Hawaii is 78$ tho. Priority mail or ground mail would be ok. We know it takes six to 8 weeks to get here.

This is my second review. First review, I hadn't actually flown it yet.It hand launches very easily. It does take a dip down upon launch. Make sure you get to the elevator stick quickly or you risk hitting the ground. I fly off of asphalt. The surfaces that make contact with the asphalt, have been beefed up with a nice hot glue bead. I don't think that the plastic covers will hold up to concrete or asphalt landing. The Neptune is a very good flyer. It does all the basic maneuvers, rolls, loops, and inverted flight very well. Overall, it's a great product and great value for the money. Enjoy!

Oh how I have waited for the return of this plane! Years! Great plane to fly. Great Delta wing that flies more stable than others that I have had and it won't chop up your hand or require a side launch because of the EDF. You can get aggressive with it or just let it glide. A little mixing to address the elevator while gliding vs full throttle will keep it flying flat. This being my 3rd Neptune, I do intend to mount the ESC under the plane towards the back of the finger grip. There is just too much heat inside the limited cockpit. In addition, adding the freewing 64mm 12 blade EDF is a nice upgrade to get more speed and it sounds really cool. That will require an upgraded ESC as well. I may buy a second Neptune for that project. I already have a few flights on this one! The one annoyance I had with this purchase was the short leads for the servos. They barely work.... another inch would be a nice improvement for future production runs please. Thanks for bringing this back Skynetic!

This plane is a dream to fly. Very stable with no discernable adverse tendencies. No worries of cutting hand when launching as you would with a standard pusher prop wing. A must have for your hanger if you like flying wings. If you like FPV there is very little extra room for the additional electronics in the stock configuration. I fly with an 1800 mah 3s battery plus 1/2 oz extra weight to achieve the book CG, there is room for a 2200 3s and the weights wouldn't be needed. It will competently do the standard aerobatics that a flying wing is capable of...so no 3D.

My club has several fliers with wings. All with pusher props. When I showed up with this baby and took off without having to launch, then did a few touch and go’s…that’s all it took. Two of the members ordered theirs Immediately from their cell phones! It’s a great flier but needs some more power. Hope to upgrade it soon.

Great that MotionRC decided to bring back this EDF flying wing, originally from Techone. This is a proven platform, with very good flight characteristics and no surprises. I believe the only change that MotionRC did to it, was to replace the big and bulky 40 AMP ESC with a smaller & slicker 30 AMP ESC.; which allows more room in the small battery and receiver bay, In reference to setup, it is a straight forward elevons configuration. Although it flies well with a 3S 1600 mAh Lipo battery, I use a 3 S 2700 mAh 30 C Lipo battery, for more performance and extended flight time. Likewise, I reinforced the control rods with carbon fiber rods, to avoid elevons fluttering and more precise control. Although not required, the addition of a gyro receiver, will make this flying wing more fun, specially on windy days.
