“Very pretty. Breakaway prop works great. Although I already lost it. An included spare prop would have been nice. Flight controller is much better than competitive 400-500mm RTFs. Auto level, stabilized, manual, and loiter. Very durable. My rudder broke off at the hinge after like the fifth crash like others. No problem. Just tape it back on. I installed a nylon hinge in it, because I already had them. Main gear does need to be secured because the hole it inserts into has to be big enough to also fit onto the plane stand insert. This is like a 1/25 scale biplane, so wind throws it around. It’s also easy to lose your bearings due to small size and color scheme. Very fun and forgiving.”

“All it did was fly into the ground! I tried all the different combinations of modes. The first flight rolled right into the ground after I launched it. The next flights were on beginner mode. The launch was good, straight and level with a slight climb. As soon as I gave it any input, elevator or ailerons, the plane spiraled right into the ground. The quality is good as it has survived numerous hard “landings”. By the way, I have fifty years of flying RC so this isn’t my first rodeo. If I can figure out the various flight modes, this could be a nice little park flyer.”

“Purchase and arrival of item was amazing. The tiger moth flies amazing. Unfortunately there is a major design flaw. As the tail is only connected in two places by very thin foam and the tail is completely independent of the body, it snaps off during landing. I bought a second one thinking it was a fluke, unfortunately after one day of flying the issue happened again. If the tail was designed more like the pitts version where the front half of the tail is part of the body and thus protects the flap it would be fine. The current design though accurate to the real plane is a terrible design.Issue could be maintained by offering just a tail replacement for 5 dollars instead of an entire tail and body kit for 35.We will buy the pitts model for our next purchase. It’s a lot of money to get one day of use out of.”

“Flown 3 times now. On each occasion when selecting 3D mode, to do aerobatics (my reason for buying this model), the plane does not respond and spirals to the ground. Could this be due to a faulty giro?Fortunately, I fly over a field with long grass, which has buffered its fall and prevented my props from breaking.”
