“I finally got a chance to get my Stearman out to the field. As a rookie pilot, I set the radio for Beginner and 6 Gyro. The plane flew easily as soon as I released it. I have to do hand launches since my field is actually a soccer field and doesn't have a landing strip! After a couple of laps I set the controls to Expert and 6 Gyro. I wanted to tighten the turns a little as my laps were getting a bit out of the field. Switching to Expert seemed to help that. I honestly don't know if switching to Expert made a lot of difference or if I was just getting more comfortable flying it. I can actually recommend this for beginners as the 6 Gyro setting works great and having both ailerons and rudder gives you plenty of control.This will be one of my go-to aircraft.”

“The plane flew good for about 20 seconds into first flight, then the motor ceased up. Motion sent me a new motor and motor assembly. I installed them and took 2nd flight this morning. Plane flew ok, needed some small adjustments. What bugs me about these micro planes is the prop saver. If you loose the prop, guess what you lost half the prop saver, and the spinner along with the prop! Buying extra props is worthless unless you buy another set of prop savers, to which you only need the outer half, and also have to buy the spinner also. Which cost exactly $16.98 with tax for 1 spinner, and one set of two prop savers. So basically every time you loose a prop it’s another $16.95. So I think that’s ridiculous. Every part of the prop should be sold together, and extras should be included with plane purchase. Shouldn’t be sold one little plastic piece at a time. So for the defective motor, and having to buy every little part separate just to get the prop back working is reason for only three stars. Motion made it right, sending me motor and motor assembly for free, Just can’t give more than 3 stars for plane itself.”

“Well, the delivery was OK but the second time I flew the plane, the plane did not respond. It flew away would not come back and it’s been lost ever since I contacted local authorities, fire department, and police. I would not recommend this plane to anyone they motion RC would not give me a credit. for my loss so I’m out $100. I spoke to a man over the phone and he said well I can’t give you a credit because I can’t look at the plane no test the receiver. I’ve been flying planes for 40 years, this is never happened to me. Everybody that wants to plain bite at your own risk. It’s a nice looking plane, but the receivers are faulty.”

“I live in a windy lace and this plane holds up great I did notice a issue with mine where the loiter is still on after turning it off,other than that great plane for beginners”
