First and foremost, I wanted to say that motion RC has some fantastic customer service. Gone are the days of good customer service from companies, not motion, I really appreciate what they do for their customers. Now let’s get to the tank. The first one I ordered, was a gray one and it was broken on delivery. The fenders were broken in the box. I ordered another one and got the brown one and the fenders are good. However, I am not impressed with the plastic that is on this tank.I am new to the hobby so bear with me, my first purchase was a Heng Long. The plastic on the Heng Long seems to me at least three times as durable and thick. The plastic on the Torro seems like it can break very easily. The other thing I do not like about this tank is the way that you take the body on and off. Now the latch in the back is exceptional, but being that you have to slide the plastic front hood into a slot that does not align right is very cumbersome. Plus being a more brittle plastic, I foresee it braking in the future. The other issue I have is I bought the attachment for the infrared to work with the other tanks, it will receive hits, but it will not send any hits out. This is my first and probably last Toro tank. The heft of it and the metal is pretty nice, but the plastic just is not there compared to the other tanks. The turret is extremely loose and wobbly. It’s not tight, and I can’t see how to tighten it. The barrel only goes up and down, in a motion, you can’t just move it up and down like the Heng longs. It has to do a rotation. The charger that comes with the tank will not allow you to charge with the battery in, it has a different plug, so you have to remove the body to get the battery out.Barrel smoke and light is cool! Super cool! I wish all the tanks Motion sells would have an option for barrel smoke and flash. The tan is heavy, and I would suggest some sort of stand so the suspension does not sag over time. I just used a small cardboard box and it does fine. In the future, I’m going to stick with the metal Heng Longs.

I love this tank so much. I got this for Christmas and it performs great. This is my first rc tank and I was so amazed by the size and weight. It weighs 15 lbs and it's huge. I love the full metal tracks and metal upper body. The sound is also very loud and cool. Great product.

After buying several Henlongs pro models I decided to take the plunge into Torro tanks, all I can say the higher cost is worth it, from the quality of components down to the level of detail and the paint job. It’s going to be hard to even consider buying any other RTR for anyone who is not wanting to assemble or paint their own tanks

Beautiful tank, with very nice camp scheme. Not ran it yet, but everything looks great right out of the box. Another awesome addition to my Torro stable of tanks!

I really love the tank from the quality to the muzzle flash and smoke. The tank arrived 4 days early, which was awesome. Now the negatives: Although it states on the website you can charge from a port by the power switch without removing the battery this is false for the US version. The exhaust smoke does not work, but I am not wasting my time with trying to get that fixed, because I guess this is the norm for Torro tanks from what I have read. The controls are a little odd, having to push up on what normally be the “raise turret” control in order to fire the cannon, but I got used to it. The machine gun that is supposed to sit on top of the turret falls off, as does the machine gun mount. For what this tank costs, I would at least expect the exhaust smoke to work and advertised features to be more accurate and honest.

RTR RC tanks sure have come a long way in the past years. This Tiger II is no exeption. Excellent build quality and quite easy to acces, use and control. This is however to be expected from the Pro-Edition.The paintjob is nice in quality though has a bit too many details accentuated in silverpaint in my taste. The wooden crate the tank comes in is a nice perk and will vastly improve any space it is planted in. Aswell as being a great storage space. This particular version comes (as far as I can work out) with the latest tech on board/radio. Very precice to the controlls and smooth running.A couple things to note: The tanks running gear, as with the original, will benefit from a wash/clean and relubrication of moving/turning/rolling parts after offroad use. Maintenance basicly. Also the timing on the muzzleflash/recoil of the gun is somwhat off if you fire the main gun.The on board recharging socket works but it is mainly a gimmick if you have a proper charger and anything other than the stock 2Ah NiMH battery. The charging proces is quite long stock and the tank will only do about 15-20 minutes of serious running on it. So I can recommend to invest in an universal charger and a more powerfull battery. The tank has a desently large spot for a battery. I get about 45 minutes of serious heavy duty runningtime from a 5Ah NiMH battery and over an hour with a 7Ah Li-Ion.The smoke system is quite tricky to get going properly due to the plumbing beeing loose bits connecting the heater with the exhaust/gun and get oily and loose easily, also the gunsmoke reservoir is tricky to fill becouse it is mounted horizontal, resulting in some spillage.Minor things aside the overall quality feels really good. The tank has decent range and speed. And is an asset to any modellers/enthousiasts Panzerbattalion.
