“Very pleased with this board. After many years of using a crappy plastic board that had warped so it didn't stay flat and had a few deep gouges in it, I knew it was time for a replacement. I've moved up from my trusty, budget victorinox and wanted something that was gentle on my edges. Initially, I looked for a wood board, but I ultimately settled on the FRK for the numerous reviews that mentioned edge retention. I was a little worried that I wouldn't like the somewhat soft quality of the board, but I got used to it very quickly. The board does stain a bit, as others have mentioned, but it doesn't bother me, and I take care to make sure I rinse stuff off that has particularly strong pigments. Overall the board is a good size, is easy to get used to, and feels very sturdy. I believe it's definitely better on my edges and I don't get that hard feedback while chopping that I used to get from my cheaper boards.”

“I absolutely love my cutting board. It's sturdy while being lightweight and so easy to clean. My only regret is not getting a slightly larger one and I may end up making an order to do just that :)”

“It is the perfect size for smaller kitchens, small enough to stow away when not in use. All you need is a damp kitchen towel underneath and what you have is an awesome tool at gripping whatever you are slicing. I am surprised that I absolutely love this thing and saddened that it took so long to finally get one.”
