“i came across this knife when i was visiting the city. they actually let me try this knife on a carrot and i was amazed at how smooth the cuts felt. i had just bought a chefs knife so i didn't buyt the takamura. but a few days lter i decided to get it since this is the most reasonable one anyway. it's definitely not for rough chopping- the blade is very thin. but if you're doing fine knife work this blade is great. i think i might consider getting the damscus slicer.”
