“This stone cuts fast. Quick accumulation of dark metal dust on plate. Good to have the plate white so as to be able to tell the cutting speed. Very happy with purchase. Sharpened 4 tools, and reflate Ed the stone. Only took off 1/1,000” to re-flatten. Should get a lot of use out of it.”

“The Shapton HR series cuts quick, even though it is 8000 grit. I have a 16000 as well. Very pleased with their performance.”

“I wasn't sure if this stone would be worth it, but no regrets. If you have any other SG stones and realize how great they are, then just buy this.”
