The medical tag is made of aluminum. The red anodizing appears robust. The tag needs to be thin enough for the embossing to work, which leaves it subject to bending. If you need utmost reliability, you might opt for one of the stainless steel tags instead.

Overall I am happy with the tag. I suggest a better job of cleaning up the edges should take place. My tag edges are not as smooth as I would expect them to be.
