The numbers 18/8 represent the composition of this steel; it is 18% chromium and 8% nickel, making it very resistant to corrosion and oxidation. It is highly durable and easy to fabricate and clean. 18/8 stainless steel may also be known as austenite steel or 304 grade steel.The Dull 2D finish on this tag achieved by cold rolling, heat treating and pickling which results in a low reflective matte surface appearance. “I’m really happy with the purchase. My wife and I are seniors and she goes for walks alone so it’s nice that she has some identification in case of a mishap. They’re discrete and yet still readily visible. I recommend them For anyone that wants discreet identification and doesn’t want to carry a wallet or other identification with them.”

“Dog tags were good and the rubber silencers were stiffer than the regular ones which is good. And the key ring made for easy installation onto my chain I already had that is bigger than the one it comes with”
