“To be candid, the product is not what I expected. The thickness off the tag is less than the original and the embossing is difficult to read. All in all the product is not what I expected.”

Hi Stuart, thanks for your feedback and your military service. Our standard 304 stainless tags are 15mil (1000ths of an inch) thick which complies with modern military specifications. That said we do also offer 20mil thickness tags, as during the 60s some tag suppliers offered thicker tags which some Vietnam vets prefer. These thicker tags are offered as an upgrade option our website. Regarding the embossing, we actually take great pride in how well defined the stamped letters are (as seen in your photo.) So that is not something we would be able to adjust to meet your expectations. If you would like a thicker tag please email us.
