“The information on the dog tags was exactly the way they should have been printed, that being said I was disappointed that they did not look like my original dog tags because of the original stamping machine was an older machine and made a deeper impression in my original dog tags. The ones I purchased look like they were made buy Modern stamping machines. I would be willing to purchase another set if they were stamped by an older machine that left a deeper impression in the tags. I joined the military in the late 70s and I believe they were still using vietnam-era machines on my original dog tags. The tags that I received look like modern dog tags that would be issued last week two new recruits. If your company doesn't have the older stamping machines I guess I will live with the new modern look of the ones I received. Other than that your company did a great job.”

Hi Charles, Thanks for your feedback. You ordered a modern embossed (raised text) Army dogtag which meets currently military specifications. We do indeed offer the older "Debossed" stamping method where the letters are indented into the metal. This is available as an option on our website either on the main Dog Tag creator page or via one of our WWII, Korea, or Vietnam Dogtag templates. Please contact us if you would like to arrange for an older dogtag style like this.
